"This is my second class at Zen CPR! Professional, very thorough yet doesn't take all day. Lingfei has a perfect set up for classes and all the equipment needed. She has a very good hands on course and is certified with The American Heart Association . I've noticed other locations charge so much more and Lingfei is very fair with her prices. There is no one who charges less.
Lingfei has other talents and gifts as well and is a wonderful and caring healer. She genuinely cares about people and knows her life purpose.
I called her last minute in a panic as I had to have the CPR within one day and she said come down if no one else can do it. She is such a kind person and showed up just for me to get my recertification . Who does this these days? NOONE! I would go to no one else! Very lucky and blessed to have this person and service in my life and career!"

"I had just had our babies and wanted to make sure we and our friends and family were prepared for infant CPR if the need ever arose. Matty was excellent to schedule with and was able to do a private class for just us and she even came to us so we didn't have to pack up our infants and go to the studio. It was so nice to have that one on one instruction so we all felt comfortable with what needs to happen during an emergency. "ZenCPR fit me into class fast & stayed late when I couldn't make it on time, in order to complete my training. The instructor was not only able to answer all my complex questions but elaborated & provided insights, to give me a firm grasp of the subject at hand, so as to improve my judgement capabilities. I have knee problems, and was shown how to compensate in multiple ways. I was given the time & freedom to practice on the manequins as long as I wanted. My CPR card was emailed to me before I left. It was the best CPR class I've ever taken. I really enjoyed it."

"I have taken cpr and first aid classes in both New Jersey and in LA for the past 15 years. Since living in LA I have gone to the same place for convenience. This year I have decided to find someone a little more local who could train both myself and my staff. I had an appointment with another instructor who had fell through at the very last minute. Leaving us in a scramble to find another instructor a.s.a.p. After reading Ling's awesome reviews, I gave her a call.
She was informative, patient, reliable and very professional. She was even very knowledgeable about my field as a Early Child Care Educator and day care owner. She came on an early Saturday morning, which I really appreciated and was so awesome and making sure to keep us engaged. Her material and training was relevant to our day care center which impressed me!
My staff was kinda of deeding cpr/first aid class, after 5mns of meeting Ling they were relaxed and laughing. By the end of class they really appreciated her sincerity and empowering them with the confidence to react and help in case of an emergency situation.
I love that Ling kept clear communication with me. She is very thorough and passionate in what she teaches. I highly recommend her, especially anyone in the field of early childhood education. Ling is truly the best!"

On April 26, 2014 - I went to a CPR/First Aid Class at Wellness Works in Glendale, CA. The class was thought by "Ling Hui" a US Navy veteran, Holistic Healer and certified instructor extraordinaire to say the least. It was a small intimate class which worked towards the students advantage hence the special attention. The class was presented in a very practical, straight forward, no non- sense and fun/funny way (not boring at all.) As, I have taken CPR/First Aid numerous times I would like to point out that Ling covered the new modern updates not to mention elucidated very well what brought the certain changes in CPR/1st Aid training. A special added part of the course is the AED certification. She provided a very practical approach on the hands-on portion of the course. The certificates were handed out immediately after the class was completed and out of the kindness of her heart informed us to get in touch directly with her in case a replacement certificate is needed plus if we need any other resource....
Overall, my experience with Ling's class was very positive. Ultimately, the final test of First Aid know how is to be able to save a life given the situation. Ling recommended very good apps for smart phones which is more cost effective than having to buy class materials. In less words it is never about the money for Ling since the cost of the course practically covers the course materials/certificate and she made a special arrangement with Wellness Works to help fund the Veteran's Welcome Center in providing much needed health services to veterans and their families.
I recommend the class to save money and at the same time support a worthy cause.

Ling made it possible for me to meet her a day later for a 1 on 1 class. The 1st Aide Classes are on dvd's to watch, Ling made that part of the class to the point and in sections easy to understand. The CPR was also just the way you need to learn by practicing on the dummy bodies an Lings training was perfect. Ling's business office was very roomy, clean and comfortable.I would highly recommend the 1st Aide & CPR Classes to anyone who needs to take the course. "I had to get my BLS CPR very last minute - I literally only had one day to meet my deadline. I was scrambling everywhere & Ling was very helpful & was able to fit me into her busy schedule within an hour of calling her.
I enjoyed the one-on-one format of her class & she's very thorough & teaches you all the CPR that you might miss when zoning out in a classroom format class.
Her rate is also VERY reasonable & much cheaper than anyone else, especially for a one-on-one class.

"I hardly ever write reviews for anyone; however, AFTER taking a class with instructor Lingfei…I couldn't resist not to spread my SATISFACTION with this class. I took a re certification CPR class with Lingfei earlier Today. This was hands down the best class, and best CPR instructor I've ever had. What I loved about this class was the fact that I had one to one time with the instructor.
In addition, I LOVE the fact that Lingfei was fun, passionate, funny and very KNOWLEDGEABLE at what she does and teaches. She makes sure you understand the information, and doesn't waste time on information that you already know. In addition, she proactively reaches out to her students to inform them about any changes in logistics of CPR from previous books. She certainly closely pays attention to how the student performs and promptly gives feedback as well. The benefits of the one-on-one class is that I got all of my questions answered and full attention on ME! Lingfei works at YOUR pace, and even goes over everything in detail with additional time left for questions. She was SO helpful, My favorite part is that it didn't take up to 4-5 hours like draining group classes. I learned all the necessary techniques and passed the test.
I also liked the fact that Lingfei is very affordable & FLEXIBLE in accommodating her student’s schedule. Lingfei also provided me my CPR card on the same day AND even scanned a copy of it (and e-mailed it to me in a PDF file for my own records). This class is hands down: awesomely informative, easy to pass, fun and knowledgeable. I will highly recommend this class & instructor Lingfei to everyone.
